Tool Sets: Modern Solutions To Traditional Problems. HOTO’s Approach.
HOTO has recently launched a series of Tool Sets that are the solution to problems we have with traditional tool sets. This product is for YOU! (unless you are an industrial worker, someone who has to use tools for big construction jobs). HOTO, a short form for (HO)me (TO)ols is dedicated to designing tools to use at home. On this occasion, HOTO has launched 3 Tool Sets that revolutionize the traditional way of carrying and working with tools.
Over time, we’ve seen that conventional tool kits have some major problems, so at the HOTO headquarters, we were eager to put our little touch into those heavy and chunky boxes. Here’s a simple comparison of the HOTO Tool Set with conventional tool boxes:
Too heavy
Traditional kits are just way too heavy. Of course, it’s understandable if you have a trillion screwdrivers and a gazillion other tools. Many times, we get a sore hand from carrying the tool box rather than the job itself. Weight is overrated. A heavy tool kit does not imply good performance. The key is weight distribution and efficiency! If you can do more with less, why not choose that option? The heaviest HOTO Tool Set weighs only 3.4Kg (the equivalent to 3 and a half bags of rice). If you are looking for a more comfortable option, find yours in the HOTO Tool Set series.
Hard to store
Another common issue with traditional sets, aside from its portability (to which we’ve already found a solution), has to be the size! That big chunky box really screams for attention! You’d normally have it in the garage, pantry, or under the sink (I don’t know where else you’d store it). However, in many households, there is no such space to store this immensely big box, but there is still the need to use tools. What is the solution? Only correct answer: HOTO Tool Set. Our tool set is so compact and minimalist that it can be placed at plain sight and it can even work as room decoration!
Too many tools
It is really satisfying when they display 10 screwdrivers on each side of the case, each with a different tip. However, wouldn’t it be better if you had different bits to fit one screwdriver? Maybe you’d save some space and weight… Idk, just wondering. See this example of HOTO 12V Brushless Drill Tool Set. You can even store a drill in a case if you put some thought into the design.
HOTO reduces all unnecessary tools into a simplified form. You may find the same tools as always, but in the HOTO version. The secret to a compact and lightweight model is having “multipurpose tools”. See the drill? It can also screw! See the screwdriver? It’s magnetic and it has 10 bit accessories (included). And see the tape measure? That’s normally an additional accessory, but we found space for it too!
Heavy looking case
Why would you carry a box that looks as if you were going to demolish a wall if all you are going to do is fix some cupboard hinges? Instead of “traditional”, I’d rather say “outdated”. At HOTO, we came up with this modern and minimalistic case that fits into any modern home interior design.
Safety measures
In essence, owning a tool SET and not just some random tools is that, with a set of tools in its personalized case, all you really need is previously studied and thought through. A last additional change we’ve made to conventional tool kits has to do with safety measures. When you protect yourself, you’d also want to protect your tools. Conventional kits use a type of plastic that is thin and breaks easily. HOTO chose to use an extra hard ABS case that protects all your tools for an extended tool life. Additionally, we’ve designed a cap for the hammer to protect work surfaces, and fixed the spaces in the interior so as to safely secure the tools and avoid accidents.
The NEW HOTO Tools Sets successfully put together every change we’d make to traditional tool kits. And with a bibbidi-bobbidi-boo… HOTO designed a tool set just for YOU!
