I really like this screwdriver set. The design is sleek and well-thought-out, with a nice mix of anodized aluminum and magnets that make it easy to use. The modular system is a plus since it allows for future expansions. The motorized function with three torque settings works well—I’ve used it on small electronics like my iPhone, and the lowest setting is perfect.
Perfect for gadgets—phones, laptops, etc. The three torque settings are useful, and the LED light helps in tight spaces. magnets could be stronger.
The design is smart, and the bits stay in place magnetically. Love it! works like a dream, so many different head types to help put anything together, overall love the simplicity of using it.
Ordered all three kits, and the screwdriver kit didnt work at all. It tries too, but doesn’t spin at all. Light comes on, but thats it. Fully charged.
The other kits are okay. Not a lot of torque or rpms, but they do what they say on the tin.
Things I like
- I like the idea of the blocks. There are a lot of bits in there!
- I like that it has a brushless motor.
- The size is nice, I was worried it would be too big but it’s a good size to have in a desk drawer.
- There are some nice design ideas, although they’re not always well executed.
Things I don’t love
- There’s no battery indicator that I can tell, and certainly no indicator that’s visible when the tool is in its sheath. If you’re out of charge, you’re out of luck, the tool can’t be used when plugged in.
- The tools are not interchangeable. I thought I would be able to buy more blocks to go with the tool, but no. Each block comes with its own unique tool, which you have to keep charged separately.
- The latch on the tool is not convenient. It is not easy to open the bitset without first removing the tool.
- The neck of the tool is quite bulky as screwdrivers go, and there’s no extension bit in the screwdriver set so it’s hard to use the tool in hard to reach places. Because the bits are an unusual size, there’s no way to go to your hardware store and get an extension.
