So far, the battery has been reliable. I’ve filled several bike tires without needing to recharge. In my opinion, this pump is more than sufficient to keep on hand for emergency needs or to store in a drawer for topping off tires or even sport balls. It comes with all the needles and attachments yo need for this as well. Just keep in mind, this is a high-pressure pump, so it won’t work for filling inflatables.
